Hyperdiluted Radiesse Frequently Asked Questions

You’ve got questions? Youtherapy has the answers!

Here are some common queries many of our customers from Wall Street in Manhattan to Main Street in White Plains have had before embarking on a Hyperdiluted Radiesse treatment. If you have others, feel free to call our offices and we’ll be happy to address them for you.

What can Hyperdiluted Radiesse help with?

Hyperdiluted Radiesse can make a huge difference to many parts of your body including: décolletage (chest wall); abs; necklines, for thinning skin around the neck; cellulitic dimples of the thighs and buttocks; knees, hands and arms.

How long does it take for Hyperdiluted Radiesse to work?

Hyperdiluted Radiesse is a dermal filler that temporarily renews your skin and diminishes the visibility of your facial wrinkles. It is very fast acting, and your skin will begin to look firmer and younger within a few days. You should expect to see more significant results after about seven to 10 days.

Are Radiesse treatments safe?

Radiesse was approved by the FDA as a facial filler at the end of 2006. This new use of Hyperdiluted Radiesse is technically “off label,” but because of the dilution, there isn’t any risk of reaction. Calcium hydroxyapatite, which is the mechanism by which Radiesse triggers collagen production, is a naturally occurring form of the mineral calcium apatite. It makes up most of our bone structure, builds tooth enamel, and exists in tiny amounts in the brain. It isn’t a foreign, manufactured substance, and it has proven to be safe.

How many sessions of Hyperdiluted Radiesse will I need?

For best results, one to three sessions of Hyperdiluted Radiesse will prove to be most effective.

What can I expect after my Hyperdiluted Radiesse procedure?

It’s normal to experience some minor swelling, bruising and tenderness after an injection. Our Youtherapy team does our best to minimize your discomfort however, by adhering to safe, conservative techniques and never over-filling. Because your injection is non-surgical and non-invasive, you will be able to return to your regular activities right away.

Who makes an ideal candidate for Hyperdiluted Radiesse treatment?

Hyperdiluted Radiesse is perfect for patients with moderate skin laxity. It’s a great fix for loose, crepey skin from the jawline down, or horizontal lines or tech necklines that commonly occur with age.

How long does Hyperdiluted Radiesse last?

One to three treatment sessions one month apart may be needed in the first year to achieve optimal aesthetic effects with maintenance of one treatment every 12 – 18 months.

How much does a Hyperdiluted Radiesse treatment cost at Youtherapy?

Treatments begin at $900 and can go up from there, depending on what your recommended treatment plan is. Our expert injector will evaluate your concerns and provide a customized treatment plan tailored to your needs, along with a full price quote.
